Bubble Magus 10 Year Anniversary SE100 Skimmer *Limited Edition*

I picked this skimmer up from Premium Aquatics on sale as a backup for my Hero 180s. I was impressed with the hero 180s and thought i would give Bubble Magus another try. At this price a kinda figured i could not go wrong. This skimmer is much better built than the Hero. It has thicker acrylic and the DC pump is dead quiet compared to the buzz i get from the Sicce PSK-1000 in the Hero. I think it pulls more air too, though i cannot confirm. I like the cylinder design as it allows for more contact time and the neck is curved for a smooth transition. Similar to the commercial ones i see and the highly regarded Deltec skimmers a few years back. Seems to work as well or better than the cones and hybrid cones i've had before it. Overall, for a 75 Gallon sps dominate tank with a 30 gallon sump, this skimmer is as good or better than the reef octopus, swc, and the hero 180 that i have had before it. It will now be my primary skimmer. I have no knowledge of the durability on the new DC pump in these, but the performance is there and for the price these are selling, they are a steal. I have not had any issue with mine in over a month of use and will probably pick up another.

Had a little trouble putting it together, and LUKE from Premium Aquatics went way out to help me get it working. I bought this one because my old NAC 6 skimmer pump stopped working and can not buy a pump for it. This SEb100 skimmer is the same build as my NAC 6. But the SE100 has a DC pump. 2 this skimmer is taller then my old one and bet build.
