Advertised GPH inflated Oct 5, 2016
Pump seems okay but the GPH that is advertised is not even close. My guess is the max output of the 3200 is closer to 800gph at 0 head pressure.
Very good pump Jul 17, 2019
Got this pump as a replacement / spare for another DC pump.
The impeller is very simple & it makes it a breeze to clean it.
Unlike other closed or hard to reach impellers that other companies built, which I think are losing it effectiveness due to debris built up.
Would recommend lubricating the rubber seal & the magnetic shaft with Vaseline or aquarium liquid silicon initially & after every service.
It took it some time (an hour) to beak in & it's very powerful & very quite.
I couldn't say if the out put is really 3200GPH, as the other guy claims, but I'm running it on a 220g tank & dial it down to 80%.
That is more then enough.
I'll post a 6 month review later on.
Very good pump Jul 16, 2019
We are a custom built & service company.
We have followed the recommendation of Luck at P.A.
I can tell you that this pump is as advertised!.
It will take it a few hours or a day to break in & I would recommend using Vaseline or liquid aquarium silicon to apply to the gasket & shaft.
I would also HIGHLY recommend to buy a small fan & direct it over the transformer / driver as this is the #1 cause of failures in those pumps (it gets over heated & burns every thing on the way).
The impeller is build in a very simple way compare to other pumps & it will NOT loss it's performance as a result of any build up.

I will post a follow up review in 6 months.
