Live Rotifers are used as both a feed for larval fishes and for feeding corals. The rotifer offered here is Brachionus manjavacas, a species originally isolated in Russia. This strain is similar to the standard “L-Strain” rotifer (Brachionus plicatilis) commonly available in the trade at 150-200 microns. The SA rotifer can be cultured using DT’s Nannochloropsis for long-term health. These are packaged in a breathable bag and can be stored refrigerated for several weeks before using to start a culture or as a live feed.
Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
