I have been using this pump with the 1-10V control as the return for my 280 gallon reef for the past two years.
Like:
Well built
features (0-10V controllable)
quiet
Red (color matches my sump)
Customer service has been good and responsive
Dislike:
Expensive compared to other DC options
Power supply is permanently attached to the pump (can't be disconnected)
My first unit was DOA
After 1 year of service the power supply went dead.
Here at the 2 year mark the pump is acting up and turning off.

I love this pump! It is quiet, powerful and controllable. My only complaint is that the controller is had wired to the pump which can be a limitation when installing or servicing the pump. The 10V control is a great feature and works perfectly with my Apex.

I've been running this pump on my 180 gal mixed reef tank a little over a year now, no problems. This pump is so quiet you have watch for flow to know if it running.
