I've been running this skimmer for aprox. 6 months. I wasn't totally happy with the factory C-Skim 1800 that came with my S-400.
This skimmer fits in the S-400's skimmer chamber perfectly. The water height in the S-400 sump is on the money too! I've been running aquariums for over 30 years and this is by far the best skimmer I've ever owned. I clean the collection cup every couple of days and the skimmer pulls the darkest, smelliest and nastiest junk I've ever seen. The skimmer is about as silent as you can get. If a Bubble King is in your budget pull the trigger and you'll never look back.
