Dosing Specifications and Directions
Use 1 capsule per 50 gallons (200 liters) of water to be treated.
Turn off the protein skimmer and leave it off for a minimum of seven days.
Remove any chemical filtration like granular activated carbon for the duration of the treatment.
As the algae die and decompose, phosphate levels may spike. Therefore phosphate absorbents like GFO (Granular Ferric Oxide) should be used to control rising phosphate levels within the aquarium.
The use of filter socks or fleece filters is recommended to keep the water clear.
Use one capsule for every 50 gallons of water and do not overdose. Empty the content of the capsule(s) in approximately 600ml (20 fl oz) of tank water and mix well till completely dissolved.
Pour the mixed solution directly into a high flow area of the sump.
After 14 Days perform a 30% water change, return chemical filtration, and turn the protein skimmer back on.
