Excellent rock and shipping Jan 20, 2021
This rock is very good quality and porous. Premium Aquatics packs the rock very well (thick paper separating rocks, right size box) and there was no breakage at all.
Got recommended to me on r/Aquaswap Jul 18, 2020
I was searching for dry/live rock to add to my pico bowl. I kept running into the same issue where other fish stores either had a 10-15lbs minimum limit, or they only sold 20lbs+, originally I had posted to aquaswap to see if anyone was selling dry/live rock by the lbs only and Premium Aquatics was recommended. I only have 3g to work with not counting the water volume once the sand and dry/live rock are added. I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the initial l lbs of dry rock I received, it even contains some calcite crystals which is pretty cool, has the appearance and texture of limestone except it appears to be full of large and small holes so it's very porous. I was expecting it to arrive with some breakage but it was securely packaged with thick paper and shipped in a box that was slightly larger than the actual rock, due to this it all came in one piece. I only ordered 1lbs because I wasnt exactly sure how much that would be (custom ordered and the piece pretty much matches what I wanted). I'm planning on using Real Reef rock along with this to get a mixed aesthetic (also to seed the rock faster). The shipping was pretty fast too. I ordered it the 8th, shipped on the 9th due to some order changes, and was here on the 11th.
