Remedy Ale was researched and developed to emulate—and improve upon—the naturally occurring microbial communities found throughout coral reefs and coral holobiomes. Its proprietary consortium of rigorously selected, non-pathogenic beneficial microbes works with the aquarium’s natural biology to restore ecological balance from the

microscopic level upward.  These metabolically diverse microorganisms cycle carbon, nitrogen, sulfur, and phosphorus; support biological filtration and bioremediation; assimilate nitrate and phosphate; improve water quality; and help establish long-term ecological homeostasis. Reef keepers should monitor nitrate, phosphate, calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium and adjust them as biological activity changes.

Through efficient nutrient cycling and beneficial microbial competition, Remedy Ale helps make conditions less favorable for cyanobacteria, dinoflagellates, diatoms, FAP bacteria, Black Beard Algae, and other nuisance algae. It also supports living biofilms and produces bacterial plankton for fry, crustaceans, mollusks, filter feeders, and beneficial grazing microfauna.

Remedy Ale is a single-dose application designed to be used as needed.

Dosing interval: Allow approximately two weeks after application to observe the aquarium’s

biological response before dosing again. Repeat as needed to achieve and maintain the desired
