I have been running my Mag 18 for 8 years.
It is operating from the basement sump with 10' of head pressure. Reasonable flow considering.
Never cleaned it.
Still works great.
I have a Mag 36 which I am switching to when I drill the tank. Then the 18 will become the backup.
I would never consider another brand.
