Your Choice Aquatics DC16 Internal Protein Skimmer

I was hesitant in purchasing this skimmer after not being able to find any reviews for this line of skimmers, but what made my decision to purchase this skimmer was two factors: first off GREAT customer service and unheard of support that Premium Aquatics provides and that skimmers Air Intake at 800L/H is above other skimmers for this size and rating, the other skimmers are only around 600-700L/H, I figured that this skimmer would not have any problems producing bubbles. And I was not wrong about that the amount of bubbles it produces, This skimmer is unbelievable only after having my 105 gallon tank up and running and cycled after thirty days, I introduced two fish, a Yellow Eye Kole Tang and a Gold Stripe Clownfish with many more fish to come. I also installed the Your Choice Aquatics DC16 Internal skimmer the same day as the fish and within 15 minutes it was producing skimmate and in just four days of running the skimmer at half the pump speed and the internal water level at the lowest height it has produced a half cup some of the deepest dark green skimmate I have seen. I have only had this amount of skimmate with one other skimmer so quickly which is currently on my 210 gallon tank and it is the JNS/AquaMaxx ConeS CO-2 skimmer. And in comparison to the Skimz SN143 D-Series Skimmer that I once had on 120 gallon tank it was a total disappointment, that skimmer could only produce a light color brown skimmate no matter the settings, needless to say that skimmer did not stay around long before selling it.
