Arcti-Pods are large, nutrition-packed planktonic copepods (3000 microns) harvested from fresh artic waters. In the ocean, copepods form the basis for much of the marine food chain.
Fish Go Crazy For Them!
No other product excites your fish like Arcti-Pods! Even many of the most finicky fish, such as Mandarin gobies, go crazy for them. In addition, they are great for invertebrates too: LPS Corals, Anemones, Zoanthids, Brittle Stars and more!
Arcti-Pods are rich in carotenoids, which bring out the color of your animals. Arcti-Pods are also naturally rich in protein, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and waxy esters for growth. They contain whole and intact biological organisms in a media with benign food grade additives. No phosphates have been added.
-Even Finicky Fish Go Crazy For Them!
-Excellent feed for LPS Corals, Anemones, Zoanthids, Brittle Stars
-Superior Nutrition: High Protein, Omega-3, Omega-6 and Waxy Esters
1 - 2 teaspoons per 100 gallon tank per day. Add to a high flow area of the tank, or for target feeding, premix 4 parts tank water with 1 part Arcti-Pods. Target Feeding undiluted product is not advised.
Because different captive reef systems process nutrients at different rates, we recommend that new users start with half the reocmmmended dose and slowly increase to the full dosage over a 1 month span.
For longest shelf life, all Arcti-Pods should be refrigerated before and after opening.
