How the RoboSnail works
The RoboSnail is very user friendly and simple to operate. The product is securely held together by magnetic forces such as your regular magnetic cleaner and placed on the aquarium.

The user first has an initial preparation of the glass surface and a simple program mode to complete. After these two tasks are completed the RoboSnail is ready to go. The RoboSnail can sense the aquarium top, left, and right edges to calculate the appropriate cleaning pattern to match the users aquariums preprogrammed parameters. The edge locations and respective distances are then stored in its internal memory for future cleanings. Once finished, it returns to the home base location for charging where it remains until the next cleaning cycle.

The RoboSnail will activate automatically once a day 24hrs after its last cleaning cycle requiring no input by the operator. Conversely, the user may manually activate the unit if so desired. These functions are made possible due to our advanced custom engineered CPU unit.

Why the RoboSnail works
The RoboSnail is an automated glass cleaner that prevents algae build up on the aquariums surface. This is accomplished by the RoboSnail's unique ability to clean the aquarium's surface once a day without user intervention. The constant preventative cleaning performed by the RoboSnail stops algae from taking hold on the aquarium surface. At first, it is almost invisible. But as it builds up on the aquarium surface over time, it progressively becomes more difficult to remove. Long periods of neglect result in stubborn coralline algae, as found in marine tanks, or a hazy, unsightly build up that can be found in all aquariums. Since more effort is needed to remove it, the result can be a scratching of the aquarium surface and longer, more difficult maintenance sessions.

How does the RoboSnail charge itself?
The RoboSnail recharges itself by parking on its own charging station in between cleaning cycles.

How does the RoboSnail stay out of the gravel or sand to avoid scratching the aquariums surface?
The user when programming the product sets the desired depth for the product to clean to depending on the users substrate level. It will be the users responsibility to set the depth to 3 inches above the substrate to avoid any chance of the product running into ground. There will be in depth video instruction and regular instructions to ensure that the user sets up the product properly.

Does the RoboSnail turn corners?
The RoboSnail does not turn corners but we are considering this possibility for the future.

Will the RoboSnail disturb the fish or plant life in my aquarium?
No, the RoboSnail makes no more noise than a typical water pump, and only operates on the glass surface.

How often should the RoboSnail be used?
Once the RoboSnail is turned on, it will clean the aquarium surface every 24 hours. It can be manually turned on and off, or a timer can be used such as with lighting to adhere to your desired cleaning schedule.

How much will it cost?
The RoboSnail will retail for around $299 depending on your retailer.

The first versions may be for glass only.

Congratulations on your purchase of the RSV1A.5 upgraded RoboSnail! Please note the following
information regarding you item.
In order to supply these items in a timely fashion we have left the packaging, information booklet, and
labeling of the item the same as the RSV1A. Your item comes with an updated sweeper assembly that
contains more magnetic strength than the current spec thereby allowing the product to work on ½ or 12
mm constructed glass aquariums.
You may program the item using the original instruction booklet as none of the functions of the product
have been changed.
Please do not use the product on ¼ or 6mm aquariums as this may cause damage to your main drive
unit and possibly your aquarium due to the extra strength.
Please note that occasional tire maintenance may be required from time to time if your device begins to
lose traction. These notes on tire maintenance can be found in your users guide on pg. 16 or on our
