Red Sea’s new high-precision gate valve designed specifically for reef aquariums, ensuring a quiet, stable downflow in your system. It allows incremental, smooth adjustments to easily balance the water flowing down with the water that is being pumped up, keeping a constant water level in your downflow box.

The ReefGate differs from standard gate valves in that it uses all plastic Reef-Safe parts. More importantly, each rotation of the ergonomic handwheel opens/closes the valve by only 1mm providing the small incremental adjustment needed for balancing the flows in an aquarium.

Retrofitting kits

The ReefGate is integrated into all REEFER G3 systems and is also available in kit form for retrofitting REEFER G2 systems.

Fits them all

The standard ReefGate valve is suitable for gluing to both 40 millimetre and 1-¼ inch piping and comes with reducers for 32 millimetre and 1 inch piping, therefore these kits can also be used to retrofit the ReefGate valve to any aquarium that uses these standard pipes.

*The kits include components for connecting to Red Sea’s ReefMat roller filters.

**Retrofitting requires cutting and gluing your existing pipes. Cutting instructions specific to each model are not included, so plan ahead carefully and use caution when cutting the pipes.
