The Straton Pro Gen 2 features an enhanced color spectrum with a significant boost in 450nm Royal Blue and 470nm LEDs. This change improves performance in the critical blue range, enhancing coloration and accelerating growth.
Top Tier Efficiency & Reliability
It features premium, high-powered LEDs driven at 30% or 1.5 watts of a maximum 5-watt capacity. Driving the LEDs at 30% output improves efficiency, lowers heat, and reduces stress on the LED. Other manufacturers use lower-wattage LEDs driven at a higher percentage, which reduces efficiency, increases heat, and decreases the lifespan of the LED.
Uniform Light Distribution
The built-in proprietary diffuser blends the individual LED lights, virtually eliminating color separation. The large output area blankets the entire tank with a consistent, uniform output.
Runs Quiet & Cool
The 100% aluminum body maximizes heat dissipation and eliminates the need for noisy cooling fans. Even without fans, the fixture is cool to the touch.

Gen 1 vs Gen 2
The most significant difference between the original Straton Pro and the Gen 2 is the change in the color spectrum. 450nm Royal Blue and 470nm Blue have increased, improving performance in the essential blue range while reducing high-energy ultraviolet and violet radiation that can damage corals if misused.
