These crabs have outstanding color. Mine tend to be more active in
the evening. They are very non-aggressive aside from the occasional
skirmishes between hermits of a different species (no injuries on
either side).

True Red Scarlets have bright red legs and gold eyes. These crabs reach about 1" to 1.5" in size full grown and usually have pretty coraline covered shells. These are the least aggressive crab for the reef tank. They eat diatom, hair and detritus. These guys are nocturnal, so they'll start work in the evening and after the lights are out. Recommend 1 crab per 3 gallons, or up to 2 per gallon for major algae problems.

Seem a little sluggish compared to the red legged hermits, but are working well and are beautiful. Healthy right out of the shipping bag.
