Mogul mount is designed to just slide right on a PFO mogul socket, basically has a solid metal bracket that comes down 90 degree, hard to see in the picture. So would need a little DIY work to flat mount it on mount on a different socket.

Don't let this small LED fool you. It puts out a lot of light, you can night view a 24x24 tank. It's meant to give off a nice blue color that is bright enough to view your tank with the lights off, but not so bright it will stress your tank mates.
