ADVANCED FEATURES
Float Sensors
The A.T.O. is equipped with (2) float sensors that activate within seconds when your water level drops and automatically refills your sump or tank until it reaches your desired set point. Each float sensor has been designed with an exterior guard preventing snails & hermit crabs from attaching to the sensors.
Electronic Controller Module
Our state-of-the-art electronic controller allows for (2) modes of operation with a total of (3) different set up scenarios, allowing you more choices for installation for your unique set up. Our compact controller also incorporates a visible L.E.D. panel + our innovative Audible Signal alerts when in operation mode.
Linkable Brackets
Your professional kit includes commercial grade "Linkable Brackets" that can easily be adjusted to meet your height requirements, and securely positions your float sensors. Many competing brands use inferior suction cups that are temporary that can lead to disastrous water spillage.
Pump Safety Protection
The A.T.O. automatically stops power to your return pump in your reservoir, in the event that your reservoir is low on water. This safety feature prevents pumps from running dry and failing. (Mode A- Example 1)
SP1-800 Pump
BJ introduces the extremely efficient ACCELA Powerhead. This submersible pump is ideal for use with undergravel filters and provides water circulation within fresh or saltwater aquariums. ACCELA powerhead motors are epoxy-sealed and designed for consistent power with low energy draw. All kits include an adjustable venturi injector, undergravel attachment tube, flow diffuser flap, suction cup bracket, and mounting hook.
Offered in 4 sizes ranging from 166 gph – 266 gph. All models are UL listed and are thermally protected for safe operation.

Replicating Nature
In nature, water circulation is vital for corals, fish, and invertebrates in order to achieve optimal health. Providing the proper water movement is essential for many tank inhabitants who require currents to bring food, oxygen, and remove harmful waste.
Setting multiple powerheads can simulate natural currents while eliminating dead pots in aquariums. Positioning powerheads lower/higher can also allow for more natural wave cycles by producing counter currents. It is important to research what flow rates are required for specific tank mates before replicating its environment.
It is recommended to position powerheads to direct detritus and waste into intake of filters. This small step will ensure a healthy and clean aquarium with no areas with high nutrient accumulation.
Pivoting the directional flow diffuser towards the surface will also reap great benefits by allowing for proper gas exchange between the CO2 gas saturated within the water and the Oxygen above its’ surface. This will help Maintain a proper pH for more stable water parameters.
