Bubble King Supermarin 250 internal Protein Skimmer + RD3 Speedy

I just received my sm250 from premium aquatics and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Luke was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. This skimmer is an incredible machine. It is well designed, we'll built, and works better than I ever could have hoped it would.

It broke in after only one day and started producing good foam and dark skimmate 24 hours later. I knew it had great reviews and a reputation for being very quiet, but my expectations were far surpassed. This skimmer is completely and totally silent. Even with my ear right next to the intake, I can't hear anything. Getting it adjusted was a breeze, and it hasn't yet shown any signs of inconsistency or erratic behavior.

The price is tough to justify, but was immediately forgotten the day that it arrived. My expectations with this skimmer were extremely high knowing that I was buying the best of the best so it was quite surprising to have it exceed them in every way. If you are considering this skimmer, don't hesitate for a second. They are never in stock for long and there is no way you could be disappointed. It is worth every penny of the price. I am sure that this skimmer will easily handle anything I ever throw at it for the rest of my time in this hobby and being able to feel this confident in it's ability is a great feeling after doubting other skimmers in the past.
