ATI 24W True Actinic T5 High-Output Fluorescent bulb produces a violet-blue light that is designed to maximize fluorescence in capable corals and make livestock colors pop. Color spectrum peaks at 421nm. Recommended Use: as a supplement to metal halides or in combination with other T5 bulbs. Can also be used for dawn/dusk applications.

Underrated Bulbs Jan 5, 2022
The True Actinics may not be as popular as the blue plus or coral plus bulbs but I wouldn't run a T5 fixture without them. I run two of these and two blue plus in conjuction with some LEDs and the coloration is fantastic and my corals appear very healthy. I'm a big fan of the wide violet spectrum offered between 400 and 440nm by these, something you just can't find anywhere else.
