This kit features a unique dye that has a pronounced color change between 8.0 to 8.3, making it the easiest kit on the market to read in that critical range. Alkalinity may be read from the same sample in 0.5 or 1 meq/L increments.

(07/11/2007) - The Alk is a good and simple titration test with a very accurate endpoint. The pH is NOT accurate and misleading. It shows a reading for 8.00 pH to be about 8.30. I did a comparison with a pH probe and a pH prob at a Lab.
