(07/14/2012) - I first bought the CoralVue version because of the shape, as i thought they would 'tumble' perfectly with the Octopus Pellet Reactor BR 110. I learned that how ever much flow i used the media would just 'simmer' in the reactor. I was told by CoralVue that this was designed to do just that. Personally, it wasn't enough, it didn't agitate the bio-pellets to have every particle to circulate and there were dead spots in the reactor. With Premium Aquatics Bulk Bio Pellets i expected the same. As shape and performance, however, i was surprised. The media 'tumbled'! not simmered! Every sphere, ball...whatever is moving, no dead spots! Having it move they way it is i think would utilize the media to its fullest. Thank you Premium Aquatics for coming up with this amazing product. As it is as good or possibly better then the CoralVue, plus with a better price tag. :]
