(10/21/2012) - Not a bad fixture for your refugium but the bulbs are poorly made. First 1st lasted less than 2 weeks[12 hour run time per day]and 2nd one shipped to me by JBJ was cracked on arrival. So just replaced it with 6500K bulb from Lowes. Light has no cover over bulb so keep it out of splash zone. Over all it's a OK light but will upgrade to LED light in near future.
