(01/02/2010) - I'm sure this bulb is made to high quality standards being German made, however I was expecting a crisp white to slightly blue color since it states the bulb is 12.5K, but this was not the case. The color is more like a 6500K bulb and is very yellow, even more yellow than XM 10K or any other 10K bulb I have ever had. I'm sure it has a high PAR value, but if I wanted that I could of bought many other bulbs that are far less yellow that probably have more PAR than this bulb anyways. So, I would look elsewhere if you want a slightly blue tinted bulb.
